Terms of Entry

Entries are accepted through Art Call. Entries cannot be watermarked due to the blind jury process and must follow the exhibition theme. Entries are evaluated and selected based on creativity, quality, adherence to theme, and exhibit space.

Artists may submit original digital works including photography, painting, collage and mixed media, animation, drawing, typography, or other digital art.

Entrants may choose to provide a brief description of the exhibit entry and a link to their artist website address, Facebook, and Instagram accounts for posting with each accepted entry.

Entry Fees and Eligibility:

The entry fee is $30 for up to three submissions and is payable at the time of entry. Entries fees are not refundable.

The exhibition is open to all international artists 16 years of age and older. The maximum number of entries per artist is three (3). Files must be in JPG or PNG format and must be a minimum of 960 px, up to a maximum of 3600 px.

All artists will be notified by email from Art Call regarding the status of their submitted entries. By providing your email address, you agree to receive notifications regarding your entry.

Charitable Contributions:

Twenty percent (20%) of each show’s entry fees will be donated to a designated charitable organization. Selected charities are selected based on community impact at the discretion of STCEA and are not partners, affiliates, or in any way associated with STCEA.

A cash prize will be awarded to Best in Show, with the amount to be determined based on number of total entries.

Awards of Distinction will be awarded for high artistic merit at the discretion of the show’s juror.

An Artist’s Choice award will be selected by the artists’ peers from all exhibit entries and announced at the conclusion of the exhibit. Artists will be provided with a link to vote and only one vote per artist is permitted. Voting timeframes are posted on the call page.

A People’s Choice award will be announced at the conclusion of the exhibit based on attendee voting. Any website visitor is eligible to vote for the People’s Choice award, provided the voter authenticates their identity via Facebook login to prevent voter fraud. Up to five (5) votes per authenticated user are permitted. Voting timeframes are posted on the call page.
